okay so. wat im about to tel u is a little sily but also i dont care cuz i luv it.

sometimes...after i do a poopie...

........i do a lil dance..!!

i dont even think about it!! dance just happens.

my one back leg goes HIIY-YAHH!!!

then the other legs lik BOOMSHAKALAKA!!!

then the other again..!! BADA-BING!!!

and wen i kick the dirt goes FFIIIIING!! n flys thru the air!

the dirt gos SO FAST behind me. sometimes it hits the fence! i’m not even sure why i do it. it just feels RIGHT. something deep in my dog bones says “kick it gurl” and i go for it.

daddy saw me do it and got obsesed. he filmed my poop step and made a sily vidyo. at first i was embarasd but now im prowd of my moovs! chek it out!

what a wekend it was!

it all started wen two tiny humans showed up at my house. i think they were called neece and nefew? which is like... mom n dads tiny pack members?? i dunno. i just called them lil chaos goblins.

they stayed the whole wekend. the whole. wekend. and lemme tell u... i thought i had energy. but those tiny humans?? absolute zoomie champions. they jumped up n down, squealed like squeaky toys, and the litle gurl kept doin tricks lik standin up on her front paws... even wen she wasnt gettin no treets!

but o boy o boy were they NICE to me!! they petted my ears real gentle (well. most of the time). they threw Santigo n played tuggin with Pink Pig. they took me on a walkie walk too n i raced em (u kno who won, of corse!). they lef the hous a lot with mom n dad but evrytime they cam back my tail wuld wag so hard my butt almost flew off.

but u kno my favrit part??? they. dropped. CRUMS!! everywhere. mufin crums. piza crums. pretsel crums. and do u know what girlfriend did? girlfriend CLEANED.

so now i think i like tiny humans. they wild. but they the bes kind of mesy. and they give prety good cudles to. and i maybe even missed them a little when they left. im glad they came to visit but im hapy to be the centr of atention again. o and i hav the hole couch to myself now. napy time here i come!

ok thats all. im gonna go sniff aroun the diner tabel one more time just in case theres a leftovr crum.

dear diary,

todai i want to tel u about my bestest frends! they dont bark or run around but they r always ther for me when i need a gud snuggl or play time.

first ther is Log Dog - he looks like a stik but he squeeks! best of both werlds! he waz a gift from granma and i luv him so much. he is alwayz up for a game of tug or fetch but sumtimes i jus lik to cary hims aroun the hous!

then ther is Duckie - he is a grey an green duck with a squeeker inside. he is so soft and cuddly and i like to hold him in my mouth while i run around. he is a littel smal but still my frend and we have so meny adventures together. when i get relly happy, i like to parayd around the hous fast (so fast!) with Duckie in my mouth so the humans can see how happy i am!

Santigo the flamingo is my newest frend. he is pink and fabulos and he weers a silly santa hat that flops over his eye but he dont mind. i like to throw Santigo way up in the air and then i run and grab him and then i throw him again and it is the best game ever. sumtimes he lands on my head and we both fall over. wen im tired i like to lay on hims and chew on his feets.

but my FAVRIT of al favrit toys is Pink Pig! he hides in my toy crate and i luv diggin around to find him. he squeeks the loudest and is perfect for tuggin games. he got long floppy arms that go whap whap when i shake him real hard. he pink like my friend Santigo the flamingo but hims is softer and mor flufy. i got him after my bath at the groomers cause i was a good dog (i was SO good) n mama said i could pick a toy. i picked Pink Pig with my own nose. i luv Pink Pig the mostest of all.

my toys r not just toys - they r my frends and they make evry day beter. they dont judg me when i drool on them either! they always ready to play when i bring them over n flop them down. i luv my mama n dad for bringin me these frends, they always pick the best ones for me. we play tuggin n fetch n sometimes i just cuddle them when i take my naps so i can feel safe. i cant wait to see what new frend they will bring home for me next. maybe a floofy cow? or a crunchy fox?

i luv toys. i luv my famlee. toys make life fun.

todai i did the thing agan. the stare thing. dont no wat im starin at but evryone goes "awwww" and gievs me treatz. sometimes i stare at the wall or at the big light beam comin in the window (little dusties r so fun to watch!) or at daddy when he werkin in offis.

humans r weird. they luv when i stare at nothin. they say im "so cute" and "soooo precious" but like... im just lookin around?? but hey if it gets me belly rubs and snax im not complainin.

my reezun for stare is mysterios. even i dont understand it. but aparently im really gud at it so ima keep doin it. maybe one day the humans will figur out wat im lookin at and stare at it too. but for now, im just gonna keep starin.

dear diary,

BEST. DAY. EVAR!!!! went to the park with mom and it was AMAZIN. so meny smells! so meny new frends! so meny things to sniff!

first i met this realy big dog and we played chase. then i found a stik (THE BEST STIK) and caried it around for like an hour. mom tried to take it but no way jose that stik was MINE.

then ther was this litl pond and i got my pawz wet and it felt so gud! and the grass was so green and soft and perfect for roling around in. i even found a few bugs to chase but they were too fast for me.

met some nice humans too who gave me pets and told mom how "beautiful" and "sweet" i am. they r NOT rong! i am the bestest dog in the whole wide world... just come to my house n ask anybody!

cant wait to go bak to the park. maybe next time ill find an even BIGER stik!

i think i migt be the next big thing in dog modeleng! evryone keeps takin pikchers of me even when im jus sittin. or nappin. or lookin at a leaf. im not even doin fancy paws or nothin but i still look like a super star.

i mean... i AM preety gud lookin. my fur is soft and flufy, my eyes r big and adorabl, and i can sit stil for like... at lest 3 sekonds. thats model material rite ther!

been praktising my poses. i got the "cute head tilt," the "majestik sit," and my speshalty - the "innocent puppy eyes." works evry time for treatz!

maybe soon ill be on magazin covrs and bil bords! "girlfriend: supermodel dog" has a nice ring to it dont u think?

until my big brak comes, ima keep werking on my craft. and by craft i mean lookin adorabl, wich comes naturaly to me anyway.

todai was the day. THE DAY. the day i finaly got to try cheez! not just any cheez but REEL cheez from the big cold box!

it started wen mom was makin a sandwich and dropd a litl pees on the flor. and u no wat they say - finders keeprs! it was so gud and creemy and amazin!

now i understand y humans luv cheez so much. its like... hapines in food form! i want more but mom says "too much cheez is bad for doggies" but like... how can somthing so gud be bad??

been dremin about cheez evr since. maybe if i stare at the cold box long enuf more cheez will aparr? worth a try!

dear diary,

today i got put in a big metal thing that goes vroooom with this nice lady with curly hair. i didnt know where we were goin but i just kept chasin the light in the bakseet while the lady drove... next thing i knew, we were there! i hopped out REAL fast and sniffed the air and it smelled pretty good. like grass and trees. oh and squirrels! i love squirrels.

i walked in and there was light everywhere and a soft rug that smelled clean with a hint of another dog? but i was the only dog here now. i was a little scared but then i met a man. he was very nice and gave me pets. i licked his face a bunch. then i looked at the lady with my biggest eyes and she looked at me with a big big smile. she showed me where the water bowl is. she gave me yumy fishie treats and called me “girlfriend” in a soft voice. i call her mom now. i remember humans used to call me "luna" but i like "girlfriend" better. espeshly when they say "oh hayy, girlfriend!!"

i feel safe here in Charleston. i know my mom and dad love me already. i love my new home.
